The Mobilx Vipers Community Foundation is a charitable non profit making organisation with links to the Mobilx Newcastle Vipers professional ice hockey team, the 2006 UK Elite League Playoff Champions. The foundation has the following core objectives:-
- develop links with children from local communities thoughout the North East of England.
- encourage participation and healthy life style
- improve the provision of sports education within schools
- combat child obesity, diabetes and coronary heart disease
- provide safe and controlled environments for children within local communities
- provision of quality, choice and opportunity for children of local communities

In only four months between September and December 2006 the project worked with other 5,000 children and 40 schools as part of our School Initiative Programe and 70 children every week within our Junior Development Program. The Mobilx Newcastle Vipers have supported the foundation financially thus far in order to launch the Vipers Community Foundation but due to the massive success it has became a victim of its own success and now requires additional financial support to cope with the interest and demands of the projects.
