An essential requirement of the Vipers Community Foundation is adequate financing to cover the high operational costs of the project. Income generation is crucial to the long term success and lifespan of the foundation. We project income generation from various sources including junior hockey subscription fees, sponsorship, fundraising activities, and support where practicable from the Mobilx Newcastle Vipers professional ice hockey team. We anticipate the project being self sustainable by 2009 via increases in junior membership subscriptions, sponsorship, fundraising activities and support from the Mobilx Newcastle Vipers.
Support from project partners is an essential requirement in order to establish the Vipers Community Foundation and secure its short term future. Successful acquisition of funding from project partners will provide the VCF with a platform to build from and allow the foundation the opportunity to secure its own long term future.
